Cuesta College women’s basketball team loses in consolation semis at Orange Coast tourney

The Cuesta College women’s basketball team fell 58-44 to El Camino in the consolation semifinals of the Orange Coast Tournament on Friday.

El Camino (8-4) had three players in double figures.

The Cougars were led by Angela Llaverias, who had 16 points and eight rebounds. Templeton High grad Autumn Russell notched a double-double for Cuesta, scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds.

Cuesta (4-8) shot 11 for 55 from the floor (20 percent).
