Cuesta wrestling team starts the season 4-0

The Cuesta College wrestling team opened its season at the Bakersfield City College Duals on Saturday and went 4-0.

The Cougars beat East Los Angeles 48-0, Cerritos 33-18, Santa Ana 29-16 and Victor Valley 36-13.

Kevan Garcia went 3-0 at 174 pounds, and Will Thornton went 4-0 at 197.

Kate Nestingen went 2-0 for Cuesta, which will travel to the Sacramento City Tournament next Saturday.
