Cuesta women's soccer ties Skyline
The Cuesta College women’s soccer team scored first and settled for a 1-1 tie with Skyline on Saturday.
The Cougars (1-1-1), playing at home, scored on Gillian Stargensky’s goal at the 36th minute off an assist from Alyssa Goodman.
The Trojans’ Iris Clavel tied the score about a minute before halftime.
Both teams had 14 shots in the second half but couldn’t score. Kat Wilcox, who played the first half in goal, and Micaela Lewis, who played the second half, each had two saves for Cuesta.
