Cuesta College women’s basketball opens Allan Hancock tournament with a win

The Cuesta College women’s basketball team cruised through its opening game of the Allan Hancock Crossover Tournament with an 85-52 victory over L.A. Harbor. The win was head coach Ron Barba’s 100th of his career.

Dolores Neal scored a season-high 23 points and pulled in 10 rebounds, and Taylor Neal scored 18 points and recorded 13 rebounds.

Courtney Barba added 12 points and seven steals.

The Cougars will play Barstow in Santa Maria on Saturday at 3 p.m.
