Cuesta women’s soccer suffers 1st defeat of season, 2-1 to Skyline

The Cuesta College women’s soccer team suffered its first defeat of the year in a 2-1 loss to Skyline.

The Trojans opened the scoring after a failed clearance by Cuesta fell to Paulina Campo, who scored.

The Cougars tied the score in the second half on freshman Alyssa Harris’ goal, but the Trojans’ Daliah Rodriguez tacked on the game-winning goal in the 73rd minute.

Harris has scored in all four of Cuesta’s games this year. The Cougars play host to Ohlone on Saturday.
