Cal Poly women’s soccer standout Caitlyn Kreutz was selected Monday as the Big West Conference Offensive Player of the Week following her two-assist, one-goal weekend for the Mustangs.

The sophomore forward from Clovis assisted on a pair of golden goals during Cal Poly’s wins against San Francisco and Saint Mary’s. Kreutz, who played for the Philippines National Team this summer, also scored in Friday’s 2-1 victory over the Dons.

She set up Megan Demijohn’s 95th-minute goal against San Francisco and, two days later, assisted on Jessica Johnson’s game-winning goal in the 92nd minute to defeat the visiting Gaels.

In 23 career matches, Kreutz has scored nine goals and handed out three assists.

Cal Poly (3-1) is scheduled to play Pac-12 opponent Washington at 7 p.m. Friday during the opening round of the Husky Nike Invitational.
