Cal Poly women’s basketball team loses at Hawaii
The Cal Poly women’s basketball team ended the regular season Saturday night with a 68-47 loss at Hawaii.
In a game where no Cal Poly player scored in double-digits, Amanda Lovely led the Mustangs with eight points.
Cal Poly shot just 23.7 percent from the floor and was 5 of 17 from 3-point range.
The Mustangs (14-15, 7-9 Big West Conference) are the No. 6 seed in the Big West Conference Tournament, which begins Tuesday in Irvine. Cal Poly will face CSUN at 8:30 p.m.
Briana Harris and Megan Huff led Hawaii (19-10, 12-4) with 11 points apiece.
