Cal Poly men’s tennis team sweeps Sacramento State
The Cal Poly men’s tennis team earned a 7-0 victory over Sacramento State on Thursday afternoon.
Ben Donovan and Corey Pang won 6-3 over Mikus Losbergs and Kasparas Zemaitelis and the tandem of Dan Cardiff and Karl Enander won 6-3 over Joaquin Marquez and Niranjan Ram.
Cal Poly’s Garrett Auproux won a pair of sets 6-1 to beat Marquez and Mustang sophomore Axel Damiens beat Uli Vollath 6-4, 6-2.
Cal Poly junior Corey Pang clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Zemaitelis.
Donovan won pair of singles matches 6-4, 6-1 and true freshman Josh Ortlip won 6-4, 6-2.
Cal Poly improves to 6-6 and hosts San Francisco at 11 a.m.
