Cal Poly women’s tennis team falls in Fresno
The Cal Poly women’s tennis team was swept 7-0 by No. 28-ranked Fresno State on the road Saturday morning.
The loss drops Cal Poly to 1-3 in spring dual matches this season.
Molly Reed and Abigail Bacharach beat Fresno State’s Sofya Malysheva and Emma Wilson 6-4 to force a tiebreaker in doubles. The Bulldogs (4-3) won the resulting set, 6-4, to earn the point.
Cal Poly returns for a three-match homestand, beginning Monday against UC Davis in a Big West Conference matchup.
