Cal Poly men’s golf team in fifth at spring season opener in Riverside
The Cal Poly men’s golf team is in fifth place out of 10 teams after two rounds at the UC Riverside Winter Intercollegiate, a spring season-opening event Monday at Oak Valley Golf Club.
The Mustangs had a 29-over 605 for the two rounds on the par-72 course.
UC Santa Barbara sits in first place at 593, with UC Irvine at 598 and Eastern Kentucky in third at 600.
Justin De Los Santos and Camden Price were the top Cal Poly individuals at 6-over 150, good for 10th place. Jimmy Castles was at 8-over 152 and in 17th place.
UC Santa Barbara’s Brandon Bauman was the individual leader at 4-under 140.
