Cal Poly volleyball team sweeps UC Riverside

The Cal Poly volleyball team swept UC Riverside on Friday night in Riverside.

Adlee Van Winden had nine kills for the Mustangs (18-6, 10-3 Big West Conference) in the 25-15, 25-20, 25-16 win. Taylor Nelson had 31 assists, and Taylor Gruenewald, Savannah Niemen and Raeann Greisen all had seven kills.

Cal Poly did not lose a single set in the season series with the Highlanders (9-17, 4-9 Big West). Helena Peric led UC Riverside with 11 kills.

The Mustangs are at Cal State Fullerton for a Big West match Saturday at 7 p.m.
