On April 15, former Atascadero High School basketball standout Robbie Berwick announced on Twitter that a change was coming after two years at Florida State University.

“I will be playing at another great D1 program on the west coast closer to my family but thank you Nole Nation for everything,” Berwick tweeted.

He announced his next move Saturday morning, tweeting that he’s transferring to Colorado State.

In his lone season on the court in Tallahassee, the 6-foot-4 guard saw regular playing time as a freshman during the 2014-15 season, averaging more than 10 minutes a game. He was the team’s third-leading 3-point shooter with 19 field goals made. Berwick had a career-high 13 points for Florida State in a win over Virginia Tech last January. He took a medical redshirt for the 2015-16 season.

At Atascadero, Berwick averaged 15.9 points, 6.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds in four seasons, racking up 1,750 career points and 500 assists and leading the Greyhounds to three league championships.

Berwick committed to FSU in 2013.
