Talented son of Cal Poly baseball coach Larry Lee commits to Mustangs
Cal Poly is keeping it in the family with its latest baseball commit for the class of 2019.

The switch-hitting Brooks Lee led the PAC 8 with a .438 batting average as a freshman second-baseman at San Luis Obispo High last season and was named to The Tribune’s All-County Team. He also struck out just three times in 116 plate appearances for the Tigers and had the game-winning hit against Segerstorm in a first-round playoff win. Brooks Lee is expected to play shortstop this season for the Tigers.
Larry Lee has been the head coach at Cal Poly since 2002 and has led the Mustangs to a Big West Conference championship in 2014 and a trio of NCAA Division I playoff berths.
