Mission Prep and University of Oregon graduate Jordan Hasay has been named to the California Interscholastic Federation’s 100th Anniversary Fall All-Century Team.

Online voting for the Fall All-Century team was done from Sept. 1 to Oct. 31 at www.cif state.org. All student-athletes that were nominated appeared on the ballot. The public could vote for as many student-athletes as they desired and as many times as they wanted. The top 100 who received the most votes were named to the All-Century Team.

Hasay had a cross country career second to none at Mission Prep. She won the CIF Division 5 state title all four years and was a two-time Footlocker National Cross Country champion, winning in her freshman year of 2005 and 2008. She is one of only four people to have won the national title twice and the first to do it in non-consecutive years.

“California has arguably the best high school student-athletes in the nation and I think this historic list of fall sport honorees chosen by the fans reflects our states great legacy of outstanding student-athletes,” CIF Executive Director Roger L. Blake said in a news release.

The Anniversary Fall All-Century Team is an impressive collection of high school talent that went on to standout college and professional careers with Olympic gold medalists, Wimbledon and U.S. Open tennis winners, Boston Marathon winners, Heisman Trophy winners, Super Bowl winners and Pro Football Hall of Famers on the list.

Among the football players on the list are Cal Poly graduate John Madden (Jefferson High, Daly City, 1954 graduate), Pete Roz-elle, Bill Walsh, Frank Gifford, Norm Van Brocklin, Warren Moon, Dan Fouts, John Elway, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Marcus Allen, Mike Garrett, Charles White, DeSean Jackson, Lompoc High’s Napoleon Kaufman, Anthony Munoz, Lynn Swynn, Ronnie Lott, Jim Plunkett, Tony Gonzalez and Daryle Lamonica.

Among the girls volleyball players on the list are Holly McPeak, Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor; among the cross country athletes on the list are Louie Zamperini, Mary Decker, Ryan Hall and Meb Keflezighi, among the girls tennis players are Billie Jean (Moffitt) King, Lindsay Davenport and Tracy Austin, and among the boys water polo players are Terry Schroeder, Matt Biondi and Tony Azevedo.

Winter and spring honorees will be selected and acknowledged during their respective CIF state and regional championship seasons. Winter All-Century Team voting will begin Dec. 1.
