The NFL is going global in a bigger way than ever before
The league announced a record nine international games for the upcoming regular season, spreading the action across four continents. Australia is joining the international rotation for the first time, alongside the familiar stops in London and Germany. South America is also on the slate, with Brazil hosting an NFL game for what figures to be a landmark moment for the sport's international growth.
What started as a handful of London experiments has grown into a full-blown global push, and 2026 is shaping up to be the league's most ambitious overseas season yet.

- Week 1 (Sept. 11 AUS / Sept. 10 US): San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams

- Week 3 (Sept. 27): Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys

- Week 4 (Oct. 4): Indianapolis Colts vs. Washington Commanders

Teams Staying Home in 2026
While 16 franchises are making international trips this season, nearly half the league stays stateside.
The Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, New York Jets, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will all play their full schedules in the United States.
