What’s for dinner at SoFi Stadium on Sunday?
The host of Super Bowl LVI gave a preview of the various foods that will be available for purchase at the venue in Inglewood, California, on the day of the big game when the Los Angeles Rams take on the Cincinnati Bengals Feb. 13, 2022.
Video filmed by Arash Markazi shows the food items, including what was called a ‘famous’ cheeseburger sub. Many of the foods, including the cheeseburger sub, were available during regular-season games.
Some weren’t impressed.
“The entire submarine burger hybrid is pulled and flattened to nearly a foot long, and it looks and tastes like someone stretched a McDonald’s cheeseburger,” wrote the Los Angeles Times. “The verdict? It’s no better or worse than the fast-food version.”
The Super Bowl menu also includes beef barbacoa burritos, tater tots with eel sauce, and a lobster salad that is to be available in the stadium’s suites.
Social media was filled with shared photos of disappointing food items obtained at SoFi during previous games, such as burnt pizza and a shriveled sausage.
The presentation on Feb 8, 2022, seemed delectable enough, the video above shows.
