Chicago Bulls claim Cal Poly alum David Nwaba off waivers
The Chicago Bulls claimed former Cal Poly basketball star David Nwaba off the waiver wire on Friday.
The move came two days after he was waived by the Los Angeles Lakers to reportedly make room on the books for former Detroit Pistons guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Nwaba, a 6-foot-4 Los Angeles native known for his defense, averaged 6 points and 3.1 rebounds in 20 games with the Lakers last season.
Nwaba seemed to approve of his new home based on his tweet Friday afternoon.
