Let’s add ‘None of the above’ to the ballot
The time has come for a statewide ballot requirement that lets “None of the above” be a voter option in each and every ballot category.
Where a candidate had a firm mandate, the ballot numbers would support his/her position and maybe he/she could get something done. Where a candidate’s support was weak, the numbers would counsel caution and compromise.
Who knows, we might start a 50-state movement.
