Add telemarketing calls to Fulks’ excellent list of discourtesies
Tom Fulks’ recent column (“Confessions of a newsaholic,” Aug. 28) detailing the breakdown of manners, courtesies and empathy in our society was excellent.
I would add one more blatant example, one, I suggest, that should be addressed by legislators who profess to care about those they serve: unsolicited, voice-activated, recorded telemarketing.
