Slow down and pay attention when driving to save wildlife

I have been riding a bicycle in this area for 11 years. I am asking drivers to slow down. By slowing down you will save wildlife.

In the last three weeks I have seen four turkey vultures dead along the side of the road. I can understand to an extent running over ground squirrels and other small mammals, but how do you run over a vulture unless you are going too fast or are busy on your phone or any of many other activities while driving.
