The first paragraph of The Washington Post editorial “A porous ethical wall: Why Clinton’s emails matter” (in The Tribune on Aug. 16) states Donald Trump is “obviously unqualified.” Trump built and runs a huge real estate enterprise. When President Barack Obama ran for president, I don’t think he had even run a lemonade stand. Is it necessary to be a part of government to be qualified?

The Post mentions the Clintons care deeply about their foundation and that it “is essential to their high-flying lifestyle.” Is that not the reason they care deeply about it?

The editorial goes on to state the Clinton Foundation may have seen gifts as a “means to buy access.”

No kidding! If Hillary wins, maybe she can up the ante for a stay-over on the Lincoln Bedroom.
