Ending Daylight Saving Time is a waste of Legislature’s time
If we needed further proof that the California Legislature is a joke in search of an audience, the proof is in Aug. 12’s Tribune, with the headline, “Bill that could end Daylight Saving Time clears key committee.”
California faces many problems: Water shortages, climate change impacts, a teetering economy, highways and other infrastructure in terrible condition. These are but a few of the major problems, but the Legislature spends time debating whether to go off Daylight Saving Time.
If this is among the top priorities of the Legislature, we should disband it, and find another way to run the state.
