Government and corporations love to distract us with Yelp
People just love to comment on small-business experiences — I think that a lot of people in the corporate world and government like this trend. They want us to focus and pick on the people that stick their neck out to create a business with all of the regulations that they must endure and big business can avoid.
We must start to recognize that maybe Yelp is not in the best interest of the real American small business of brave people. You want to criticize? Tell the manager — or better yet try to open a small business yourself in this state or country and see how difficult it is.
Let’s instead create a Yelp for all of the things we know as smart people are not transparent in local and state government so we can effect change.
We are all smarter than we know.
