Why does it come as a surprise to any Republican that Donald Trump is your nominee for president of the United States?
After years of right-wing, trash-talking radio hosts and fact-free “news” on Fox News, the GOP’s embrace of Trump was a perfectly logical step. The schoolyard bully has been idolized and glorified time and time again with manufactured outrage, false reports and outright lies. The end result? Your blowhard unqualified candidate.
As Grandma used to say, “You brung it on yourselves.”
