SLO County is lucky to have Lynn Compton and Debbie Arnold
I found the column about San Luis Obispo County Supervisors Debbie Arnold and Lynn Compton not wanting voters to have a say on the sales tax hike amusing (“Arnold, Compton don’t want to give voters a say on sales tax hike,” July 21).
When a half cent sales tax increase is entitled “San Luis Obispo County Self-Help Local Transportation Investment Plan,” we are extremely fortunate to have Debbie Arnold and Lynn Compton endeavoring to protect us from such an ambiguous ruse.
