Oak clear-cutting is about more than money

dmiddlecamp@thetribunenews.com

Linda and Stewart Resnick, Justin Vineyards, Fiji Water and Wonderful Co. all have been raping our county for some time now.

In the name of greed, they have stripped the land of our water and our oak trees, the two most precious resources our county has been known for.

They will throw a bunch of money at the county via fines, make a tearful apology to “the people,” and it will be business as usual.

Our county is becoming a desert. We are in a drought. How many years does it take to grow an oak tree?

This is about more than money. It’s about morals and common sense, which seem to be sadly lacking today.
