New airlines would add to unwanted noise in San Luis Obispo

Oh, joy. Another airline may be coming our way.

I favor holding off until and unless current aircraft — commercial and otherwise — start minding their manners and doing more to hold down the noise over and around the town.

A very good start would be not overflying the core city. Parts of SLO area are becoming uninhabitable because of the thunder from above at certain times of day.

We shouldn’t have to pause concerts and other indoor and outdoor activities for the convenience of airspace violators.
