District attorney should be fighting oak tree removal

Where is the district attorney?

Regarding the Justin Vineyards debacle, it’s interesting that the district attorney hasn’t commented. Last I heard, the DA had an environmental crimes unit.

Even if San Luis Obispo County is the only Central Coast county that doesn’t protect its oaks with an ordinance, we do have laws against negligent acts that foul the streams with erosion and create unnatural water runoff. Don’t we, Mr. Dan Dow?
