Ticket writer Katy Budge hand delivers great food articles

Why hasn’t anyone nominated Katy Budge for a Pulitzer Prize for her food writing?

Every Thursday we look forward to her review in Ticket, and she always comes through with another deliciously detailed description of a local place to eat and drink.

She gives us a bit of history, a real sense of place and a cross-section of menu choices.

Katy’s taste is eclectic and discerning — from haute cuisine to mom-and-pop delis — she appreciates them all. Could The Tribune please at least give her a round of applause?
