Democratic Rep. Lois Capps serves her people to the end

One of The Tribune’s Top Stories pages included a photo of our Congresswoman Lois Capps firmly fixed on the floor of the House and engaged in a sit-in toward forcing a vote on gun control.

Hoping that any sane person — surely an educated lawmaker — would be inspired by the deadly shootings in Orlando to pass some form of gun control legislation, our gal remains an activist to the end of her exemplary career.

Walter Capps would be proud. I know I am.
