An open withdrawal from Justin Vineyards’s wine clubs

I am writing to withdraw my membership because of what you are doing to our land here in Paso Robles. I know the Wonderful Co. said they had done nothing illegal.

That may be true, but you did something at the very least that is of questionable morals in clear-cutting all those oak trees, and at the very worst that is immoral. You have not only destroyed the land, but you have disregarded the needs of all your neighbors, in terms of soil erosion and well-water depletion.

Our lovely area is known as El Paso de Robles, named for our beautiful oak trees, but you wantonly cut them down. Please cancel my membership — even though I love your wines — with your wine clubs.
