The committee of the 2016 FCA All Star Football Classic would like to thank all the sponsors and volunteers who supported and helped organize this year’s game held at Arroyo Grande High School on June 4.
To date, the game has helped local Central Coast high school athletic programs raise nearly $900,000. Special thanks to the Lucia Mar Unified School District, Arroyo Grande High School athletic director Dwight MacDonald, head coach Tom Goossen and assistant athletic director/assistant football coach Mike McAustin for all of his help with setting up for this big event that drew more than 4,000 spectators for the sixth annual game.
The committee, coaches and players would like to thank the Premiere Sponsors for the game: Dignity Health, KSBY News and the Santa Ynez Band Of Chumash Indians for their continued support of the game. Finally, we would like to thank the Central Coast car dealerships that helped our 15 participating schools raise more than $100,000 through a half-time car raffle: Honda of Santa Maria, Toyota of Santa Maria, Santa Maria Nissan/Mazda, Santa Maria Ford, Home Motors Chevrolet, Jim Vreeland Ford, Rio Vista Chevrolet, Alfano Motorcars, Sunset Auto Center, Paso Robles Chevrolet, Mullahey Ford, Arroyo Grande Chevrolet and Mullahey Dodge/Jeep.
