Letters to the Editor

Who is paying for recycling in SLO County?

Have you recycled your water bottles lately? Where are the recycle stations?

Stores are charging 10 cents a bottle. I think it is their responsibility to take back the bottles when they are empty. What are we to do with all those bottles that fill up garages, trash cans and cars? There are no stations in Los Osos. This is a burden for those that are already struggling to make ends meet.

Is it fair to have to wait in line for two hours on someone with a truckload of bottles, when you have only a few? We need more recycling places and a rule that one person can only fill four containers at a time and then has to go back in line to give the others a chance.
