Arroyo Grande City Hall needs more consistent upkeep

With everything that has evolved through the years, it’s a shame that Arroyo Grande’s City Hall isn’t regarded enough to properly maintain its landscape.

Recently, the plants on the front outside wall were trimmed. I’m guessing this work was finally done just because our largest event of the year was coming: the Strawberry Festival. I find it otherwise an embarrassment when the building is so neglected. With a lot of idle time, I wish the city could find it important enough to maintain the appearance of its building and surrounding area. You do a poor job of conveying any degree of pride.

Please consider putting this on your weekly agenda. You might even have some employees working in your building who would be happy to donate their time.

Setting an example might prompt all the merchants in the Village to do the same.
