We need a more transparent government in efforts to end government waste and irresponsible spending. Jordan Cunningham is the state Assembly candidate for the job.

Jordan supports measures that would keep our state government accountable such as online publication of state employees’ salaries, online publication of state university expenditures and the bipartisan Assembly Constitutional Amendment 1. The amendment would require for all bills to be made accessible online or by print to the public for at least 72 hours before a vote, allowing for public review.

These measures are desperately needed to keep a check on government overspending and corruption. We, the taxpayers, otherwise pay for their overspending with new taxes and increases. As president of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association, Jordan has shown his dedication to ending government waste of taxpayer money.
