I am a resident of Avila Beach.

Last year when we became bombarded with requests for huge projects in Avila, we turned to Adam Hill in order to request that any new development be thought out and planned. Our general plan had not been updated since 1983, before Avila was dug up and redone. The public access is still only one way in and out on a two-lane road limiting the public use of the beach area. Adam was not only responsive to the community needs, he guided us through the process and we were able, with a 5-0 vote get theSan Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors to approve an update on the general plan.

Since then, he has assisted the community in getting a reasonable assessment of traffic on Avila Beach Drive. As a community, we are aware of his work on the Pismo Preserve Trail Project, and have solicited his assistance in terms of land conservancy for Wild Cherry Canyon. Finally, all of our community is aware of the limitations on water. His efforts with PG&E to secure desalination water for South County and especially for the village of Avila has been appreciated. I support Adam and urge our fellow citizens to support him. He has been a friend to us.
