Eric Michielssen offers the constituents of District 5 a fantastic opportunity for representation vastly different than that afforded by Supervisor Debbie Arnold in recent years.

Ms. Arnold had repeatedly ignored community input and interests in supporting such potentially catastrophic proposals as the private Santa Margarita quarry, which would have brought unmitigatable impacts in terms of traffic, noise and safety.

Mr. Michielessen brings a wealth of private-sector experience, fiscal management skills, agricultural background and a fresh view toward how best to serve and represent the residents of District 5.

Let’s vote for Michielssen and get true representation instead of special interest representation.

Laurie Gage, Paso Robles
