An apology is in order, but it should be coming from Japan

Re: “Apology is in order for second atomic bomb dropped on Japan,” (Letters, May 22): Did I miss Japan’s apology for Pearl Harbor, the Bataan death march, the absolutely horrible torture of American POW’s or the million Chinese they slaughtered? I guess I missed that.
