Build, build, build housing for families and our work force has been the battle cry in the city of San Luis Obispo for years. There can never be enough housing to fill the demand.
Is all this building taking place in the effort to pay down the PERS debt that the city owes? That will not work for obvious reasons. Will the city’s building boom be a success or the road to bankruptcy? Perhaps Mother Nature will intervene if the drought continues.
