Ugly chapter of violent racism lives on in SLO County
Dan Krieger’s excellent column headlined “KKK writes ugly chapter in county’s history” (May 15) struck a chord with us here in Nipomo, where we’re still awaiting the apprehension of a suspect in the arson/torching of migrant farmworker housing in April.
Meanwhile, half a mile from the crime, two Nazi SS thunderbolts (white-supremacist symbols) continue to be plastered on two telephone poles on Juniper Street.
