Adam Hill deserves a D grade for civility

Adam Hill is a shame to his party in so many ways, yet The Tribune’s endorsement (“Adam Hill deserves another term in SLO County’s District 3,” April 24) minimizes glaring concerns over his bully behavior and affiliations and instead praises the several accomplishments he has, none of which are impressive.

I’ve personally experienced Adam Hill shutting down public comment, watched his arrogant MO, read his rampages and late night rants, watched him concede to wrongdoing with no repercussions. Google him — it’s amazing.

Both Debbie Peterson and Dan Carpenter have much to offer as elected supervisors. They have walked their talk, held public positions, are respectful and understand the issues we’re up against.

I personally endorse Debbie Peterson as the strongest effective candidate — and most honest. It would be good to see three problem-solving women on the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors!

But Adam Hill should rise to the top of the heap as “least desirable” supervisor option. He doesn’t deserve The Tribune’s endorsement, and it’s concerning that The Tribune attempted to underscore his major flaws with their Sunday piece.
