Republicans tend to happily run up unpaid bills

I did agree with columnist Paul Krugman’s commentary on April 26 (“Which presidential candidate is best prepared for economic crises?”) and believe Democrats have a very much better feel for dealing with economic problems, whereas Republicans tend to happily run up unpaid bills.

We should not forget that Republican George W. Bush doubled the national debt, while Ronald Reagan — with his much-vaunted Reaganomics — succeeded in tripling the debt.
