What a pleasure to open The Tribune every Sunday in April to find two pages of poetry chosen by San Luis Obispo County Poet Laureate Marguerite Costigan, including verse by our veteran poets Kevin Patrick Sullivan and Susan Lara. The last issue carried delightful poems from young people, exploring their themes of hurt and love.

As Michael Noriega, 14, of Grover Beach wrote: “Love is hard to find like a pair of two matching socks.”

Thank you, Tribune. How about poetry every week?

Glenna Luschei, San Luis Obispo Poet Laureate in 2000, San Luis Obispo
