Political liars aren’t just found on the right

On April 19, a column by Seth Borenstein wrote about how all of us lie but our political leaders lie more (“Everyone lies, but politicians do it more often”).

What to me was so interesting was the only political leaders mentioned in his article were Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, both Republicans. I guess famous Democrats aren’t worthy of note in their lies — such as President Barack Obama saying “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it” while knowing that was untrue. Or Hillary Clinton saying the attack on Benghazi was the result of a video, which she told the American people while telling her daughter that it was a terrorist attack. And what about the time she said “I’ve always tried to (tell the truth)” about her emails not being marked classified when she received them; her financial dealings with foreign countries, etc.

How about a little truth when talking about ALL of our political leaders?
