Question: Do you think the heroin dealer knows that supplying drugs to his customer keeps him addicted and beholden to the dealer? Certainly.

Question: Do you think that the liberal politician who pushes policies that increase unemployment and expand government subsidies knows that his policies keep citizens addicted to the dole and beholden to the politician? Certainly.

Recently, Gov. Jerry Brown admitted that “Economically, minimum wages may not make sense.” He then approved the statewide increase in the minimum wage even though he admits that it will “put a lot of poor people out of work.” He said it was the right thing to do. Right for whom? Right for Brown and his liberal cronies in Sacramento. It keeps those on the dole beholden to liberal politicians.

So, what does the young low-skill worker seeking an entry-level job do when none are available? I guess he goes on unemployment or welfare. Of course, he didn’t really want a job anyway. He can stay home and thank his drug dealer, oh, excuse me, his dole dealer.
