As a teen, I’ve been noticing that a lot of the people in San Luis Obispo have been depending on cars to get around to places that are easily accessible by walking or biking. I know that if we push families to walk more places, then we can contribute less to the pollution of our environment.

Even recycling is a small step we can all take to help out the environment.

I’d like to see more people being more environmentally friendly. I suggest that you bike to school, work or any destination, as it will improve your health while also reducing harm to our environment.

Danielle Alonzo, San Luis Obispo
