I've spoken to many people about the pros and cons of the presidential candidates. But any major change in the way our government is run happens at the grass-roots level, then on to Congress and the judiciary and executive branches. If you are passionate about change, start a petition or initiative. Talk to your congressional representative. Don’t tell me Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders is going to change how government is run just because they are as disgusted as we are.

One of the candidates has a history of getting things done, a long résumé of making changes that have actually helped people in need, has worked her entire life to effect change in government programs for the poor, has experience in foreign affairs as secretary of state and an exemplary record in the field of law. No one running for office has a better résumé then Hillary Clinton. Take a look at it on line.

Her opponents have tossed out one red herring after another throughout her career, yet she doesn’t quit working hard for this country. I guess the old adage still stands: A woman has to work twice as hard and twice as long as a man for half the credit. Fortunately, it isn't difficult for Hillary Clinton. She doesn't give up.
