Giving the people an early sign

In response to Adrienne Hawkinson’s letter (“Follow SLO County’s campaign sign rules,” March 30): the 60-day rule for campaign signs is only for the unincorporated areas of San Luis Obispo County, according to the ordinance.

Each city has its own rules. If any Hamon supporters in the county put their signs out early, we apologize. They were asked to wait until April 9.
