New developments could leave SLO County parched again

Hey, did I miss something? Is the drought over? Can I forget the 20 percent water-usage decrease? One month ago The Tribune reported on a 54-room boutique hotel going into Arroyo Grande. Friday, The Tribune had two more announcements: A 41-unit apartment complex near Luneta Drive and 46 new affordable apartments on Broad Street. Wow!!

Growth is OK, but when and where is the water coming from? Is “The Donald” going to steal that water from Mexico after he builds the wall? Or is he just going to make it rain for us? My vote may depend on this.

Ron Addison, Arroyo Grande
