Nuclear-powered ships don’t emit carbon dioxide

It was widely reported that methane released by the Porter Ranch gas leak was equivalent to the weight of two huge American aircraft carriers.

This is an unfortunate reporting association since all U.S. aircraft carriers are powered by clean non-carbon-emitting nuclear reactors. They emit zero carbon dioxide.

The U.S. Navy decided to switch from dirty carbon diesel engines starting 60 years ago and never looked back. It is 100 percent safe, clean nuclear for all major ships.
